Next weekend is the annual Portland Spring Beer and Wine Fest and I have a pair of tickets to giveaway. Actually, I have 2 pair of tickets because I like having lots of winners. This event is April 18-19th.

The Portland Spring Beer and Wine Fest is held at the Oregon Convention Center and it is just that….Lots of Beer and Wine vendors showing off their stuff. In addition to wonderful beer and wine vendors the event will also feature 8 special food vendors including PBJ’s Grilled Food Cart, The angry Unicorn Food Cart, 808 Grinds Food Cart, Urban German, Doner Haus Food Cart, Al Forno Feruzza Pizza (they will be reopening in a new space this fall) , Da Fat Boyz BBQ Food Cart, and Euro Gyro.

For a full list of all the vendors check out their website HERE.

There’s even more. They will also have A Chef’s Stage where they will have different chef’s sharing secrets of how to make Cake Pops to Pairing beer with cheese. Maybe you would like to learn to brew your own beer, there will be a seminar just for that. Lots of different things to choose from.  Plus some live music to listen too.

If this sounds like an event that you would like to attend then you should enter to win these tickets. Here is how you can enter to win:

  • Check out the list of vendors and tell me who you are most excited about. Beer, wine or food
  • Check out the list of Chef’s and Seminars and let me know which one you would choose to sit in on.

The giveaway will end on Tuesday, April 15th. Some of us need to win that day and not just send off our checks right? Winners will be announced on Wednesday. Winners will be able to claim their tickets at Will Call the day of the event.

This Giveaway is now closed the winners are:

  1. The list of vendors is pretty impressive! I am excited to see Laht Neppur Brewing Co. – a Peach Hef sounds yum-o! (And there’s always time to stop by Blue Moon & Shock Top!!)

Either of the cheese seminars (Cypress Grove or Willamette Valley) look like they’d be a great time. Beer, Wine, Cheese (and maybe chocolate, too?!). Sounds like a good night to me!!

    Thanks!!

  2. Most excited to try Ecliptic brewing! have been meaning to try this since I heard a rave review from a friend of mine.
As far as seminars go, cheese and cider pairings!? are you kidding me that sounds amazing in so many ways.

  3. Maryhill Wine! Would like to get a jump on the tasting before I head to the Winery in a few weeks for wine tasting, a fun preview!

  4. Pelican is going to be there? I love their little place in Pacific City. I also love all their beers, especially the cream ale.
For the seminars, the house of beer and seafood one sounds very interesting… :)

  5. katie mcpherson says:

I love love love Lompoc brewing so naturally can’t wait to try their Baltic Porter they’re bringing! The chef I’d like to see is Patrick Bernards from Bull Run Distillery… his concoctions sound lovely!

  6. i am keen to try the wineries, there are too many too list but that is where i would be going. for seminars, the Beer and Cheese pairing would be nice to learn some new things. thank you for your consideration !

  7. Carl Bergwall says:

Looks like so much fun, there are too many places I want to check out so good thing its a whole weekend!
On top of my list for a class would be the Beer and Cheese pairing. We all know how well any fondu tastes so cheese and beer is a natural but I wouldn’t mind knowing more about what cheeses might match best.

In terms of beer, I need a few samples. The honeywine and Meads sound good as a start. But you cant forget the foods you know have to have a balance. I want to see what Al Forno Ferruzza puts out, and look there, chocolate too!

I will cross my fingers to win!

  8. I am excited to try Blue Moon Brewing’s Cherry Wheat beer and Belgian white. And any chance to taste cheese, so the Cypress Grove cheese-and-beer seminar sounds great.

  9. Penny FitzMaurice says:

I love Pelican Pub, can’t wait to try some more of their beers! I definitely want to sit in on the cypress grove cheesemaker seminar! This sounds like the perfect date night :)
