I had been to Urban Farmer before and I had enjoyed the burger on the house made English Muffin. It was then that I learned that they also serve their Eggs Benedict on the same house made English Muffins. Only problem is somewhere in my long list of places to try I had forgotten this bit of info until a reader reminded me.
I ordered the Tails and Trotters Ham Eggs Benedict and our server suggested I also try one with the steak. I’m easily persuaded, so I did. These are the largest Eggs Benedicts I have had in Portland ever. The pictures don’t do it justice. I can easily say best value for your buck here. I loved the ham one, and only kind of liked the one with steak. It really didn’t matter, because there was no way I could possibly eat 2 of these anyways. English muffins were just as fantastic as I remember. The hollandaise was good, but not my favorite.
My husband ordered the Dungeness crab omelet. Not only was it loaded with crab, it was also loaded with mushrooms. Probably a few too many for him, but it was fine by me as I was snatching up any he didn’t want. Again this entree was large and it was served with your choice of bread and he chose the English muffin.
- Atmosphere was very different than anything I have seen in Portland. It seemed quiet, with a very quaint settings for each table. Bar was super cool.
- Price was around $15 for entrees on average.
- Tea was Steven Smith.
- Service was exceptional, which seems like the norm at this place.
