That’s right, I am finally doing a giveaway that I promised. Why do I do these? Because I want you to be able to experience places that I love. Sometimes people aren’t willing to try, so I’m giving you a push to show you that this place is awesome.
We have done both dinners and Happy Hour here at Clarklewis. We have dined in the winter when it feels warm and cozy on a stormy night and we have dined in the summer with the windows rolled wide open and you can people watch on this busy SE street.
No matter when you go the meal will be perfect. They serve seasonal food, so some things change, but I’ve heard they will not take the Taglitelle off the menu because it’s just too popular. Already this spring I have tried their nettle pesto pasta and loved it. Like many others I am a huge fan of the Taglitelle, but I also really enjoy their burger. We have had pork dishes and other pastas as well.
You know how I love my beer. Well they have a pretty good selection on tap, plus their cocktails are pretty darn good. I’ve even had a few of those.
I’ll stop ranting and raving, now it’s your turn. Here’s how you can be entered to win::
- Leave a comment on what your favorite dish is here, or what you would try if you have never been.
- Sign up for my emails so you never miss out on future giveaways. Here’s a list of all the ones I have done.
Make sure you follow me on Facebook too.
This giveaway will close Sunday night and I will post the winner Monday morning.
I’ve been here for happy hour and it was great! Would love to go for dinner and try the Black Kale Salad – I’ve really been into kale lately!
I’ve been before and had the tagliatelle. I want the lamb leg, though. YUM!
Just signed up for emails. I have a weird obsession with logging at food blogs and Facebook photos of restaurants.
Not exciting but I’m addicted to cheeseburgers. Would love to try theirs out
I’ve never been there before and would love to try it! The polenta and pancetta soup sounds great, as does the roasted pork.
I have been wanting to go here since they opened but have not made it. The people who opened this restaurant actually used to do an intimate family dinner in a small building where you would go and get served an amazing multiple course dinner but you never knew what it was. I would love to try anything at ClarkLewis as I am sure it would all be amazing.
Have never been but always enjoy trying a new place.
Never been but always open to trying new places. Gotta love anywhere with a happy hour! The risotto balls sound delish.
40th bday next week! Seems like a great place to go!!!
Birthday week? Come on step it up to a whole month. Scroll back to February and see how I celebrated my birthday month this year.
I have not been here but looking at the menus I don’t know why!! Sounds delicious & healthy. My lunch choice would be the curry chicken salad. My dinner would be to try lamb for the first time with the cattail lamb leg.
I have never been but I would love it try it!
Quickly adding this to my “visit soon” list! The Fazzoletti sounds delicious!
I would try the wood fired hamburger. You can tell a lot about a place by their hamburger.
I completely agree!!

I would love to try everything especially the Hearth Roasted Laney Pork
I have never been but would LOVE to go. I think I would like to try the nettle dish you mentioned. I am very curious to know if the head chef is an old acquaintance by the name of Earl? Hope I win and can find out in person!
I have never eaten there, but the burger looks great!
Never been but would love to try!
I haven’t been yet but have heard nothing but good things and must try it out. I would willing to give just about anything on the menu a shot.
We have never been, but I would love to try. I’m looking for yummy places to eat when we visit Portland for our anniversary in a few weeks. Thanks for the review, sounds delish!
fire grilled steak!
Have heard great things, would love to try them someday!
I’ve only ever had their happy hour spaghetti. Lame, I know. So I’d love to go back and explore my options. 🙂
I have never been to Clarklewis but I would love to try the fire grill steak or the hamburger looks very yummy!!

Ha! I just saw the “sharing is sexy” wording up above that I had never noticed before and it made me chuckle! 😉
Never heard of this place before but I have liked every restaurant we’ve tried so far from your recommendations! 🙂 I would probably try the fire grilled steak or the fazzoletti. Yum! 🙂
I love going to Clarklewis in the summertime. The open walls are fantastic! And it’s right on my route biking home. 🙂
My favorites…hmmm. The risotto balls are wonderful, the burger was really good. I also liked the plate of appetizers–everything was pickled. Which I am a huge fan of!
