Trifecta
I might not rush out every time a new restaurant opens, but you can be sure to know that it’s probably on my list (my list is at 113 right now) and I will eventually make it there. That is the case behind Trifecta. I knew it was going to be fabulous, I just hadn’t been yet.
We happened on a Sunday night and lucky for us it started out rather quiet so we could ask questions and get the scoop. We knew we wanted the cauliflower, but after that we were open to suggestions. Turns out it was Happy Hour, so we got to take advantage of that as well.

They started out by bringing us this huge plate of bread. I didn’t want to eat much, because I knew I would get so full so fast, but not only was it so, so good, there were 4 different kinds, so you HAD to try them all. Then the rest of the food started rolling in….
The cauliflower was exceptional!! I want a whole plate to myself and I will order it every time I go. Don’t miss this.

The deviled eggs were good. Not my favorite, but I did like the variety that they offered.

The burger!!! The burger was really good. Really rich, but really good. This is a good item to share and since it comes with 2 patties it’s a nice size to share.
We also got an order of Brussels Sprouts. These were good as well, but after that cauliflower, nothing even came close to comparing to how good they are. Order the cauliflower, did I say that already?
We got the burger and the Deviled Eggs off the Happy Hour menu and the rest was off the regular menu. It was like the perfect combo of size and price. There were many more things on the dinner menu that I do want to try, so I guess I will be back.
- Atmosphere is pretty calming. It’s got a great vibe about it. Plus leather booths, dark wood and yet very open.
- Pricing was $10 for the Happy Hour Burger and that cauliflower dish is $12.
- Service was great. No complaints whatsoever.
- Drinks included everything from Beer to wine to cocktails. And all the lists were long.
- Trifecta is located in SE Portland.
This place is amazing. Went here last summer for the first time and had AMAZING food. Their home churned butter is fabulous. The cauliflower and deviled eggs, to die for. I also got a salad and polenta dish that was great. I want to go back because it was SO GOOD
Somewhere along the way (Yelp maybe) I had read your review of this place, so I knew you loved it. It’s so great, I can’t wait to go back.
